SCPD PAC Resolution

Be it Resolved:

Summit County Progressive Democrats - PAC supports Governor Strickland's proposal to delay the final stage of the five-year phased reduction in personal income tax passed by the State Legislature in 2005. Furthermore, we urge the Ohio House and Senate to introduce and support legislation to implement this delay in the final stage of income tax reduction. We feel this is necessary to maintain essential state services, especially financial support to local school districts, which are threatened by the severe recession.
